Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > So whats it going to cost me.....

I have been kicking around the idea of buying a Synergy so I have been trying to follow this forum to see what issues there are...

My question is what is it going to cost me to get the heli and any upgrages that fix any issues these ships have? Or should I just keep an eye out for a used one with a bunch of upgrades?

Thanks

two ways

A nice used N9 with upgrades is a good way to go! If the machine is clean you can save several hundred dollars this way.

if you dont trust used heli's then buy new. The kit is $985.00 plus i would start with the hyper hub and SE or kasama tail grips when first building also(before you crash it)you may want to have the hyper drive on hand, this will help you get back in the air quickly thats all you need. the stock synergy flies right out of the box if put together correctly.

there is plenty of help here on RR just ask. NOW PULL THAT CREDIT CARD OUT AND GET ONE sorry

DONT LISTEN TO ME I HAVE A VERY BAD SYNERGY ADDICTION!

I agree that the N9 doesn't absolutely need upgrades as long as it is built well. However, I opted to get the Hyper hub and the Hyper drive system to make the build easier without dial indicating being so crucial and time consuming. I dial indicated the clutch shaft and that was it, runs like a top now. I also have the new long tail hub upgrade(SE) on the way for piece of mind.

this kit bone stock out of the box is a great heli if build right from the start, no upgrades are needed. the simple fact is some people can build, then there are some people who think they can build but really cant.

that is the only thing with any higher quaility 90 size kits out there, they require more then just hurry up and build it. alot of people get used to building raptor or trex kits and think, "hey im a good builder" until they get a synergy a stratus or a vibe. these kits require way more building skills to get them flying perfect.

now as far as upgrades needed the only upgrade imo is the new tail hub is a must have.

to make the build easier but not really needed is

hyperDrive hyperHub hyperRings

now before everyone flames me im gonna put my flame helmet on.....

Kev,

I good starting point would be to read through Charles's Building Suggestions/Tips doc as there is a ton of good info here.
