Hello,I have myself a little project going,As you all might know I am a die-hard synergy fan that could only dream of owning one of them N9's..So im taking my synergy N5(rex-600N ) and giving it a proper canopy! I need pictures,I swear ive almost been through every gallery and the whole "post your synergy pics" thread But cant find the pictures i need for the project..So I was hopeing you guys could help me out,

I need pictures,Front,side,top,bottom,(all pics with the canopy mounted to the heli)And i need pictures from the back of the heli looking forward,and from the front of the canopy looking back....Pictures need to be as flat as can be(no fancy angles) just as strait and flat as can be...

Ha Tank take a look in my gallery at my extreme 50 custom canopy. I think with a little reshaping at the back end and moving the painted windsheild back a bit it could be made to look some what close to a N9. I have had people comment that it looks like a cross between a N9 and Extreme. Just an idea and maybe you think it looks nothing like.
It also bolts right on to my raptor 50 so it might fit your 600 nice.

Thanks,Looks just a little off from a synergy IMO,It would need some serious mods..Im trying to make this as cheaply as possible,IM making the canopy out of foam and plaster,THen I will make the mold out of fiberglass,That way I can make as many of them as I want for cheap..

I think where the synergy canopy wraps underneath the landing gear,I will prabably have to do away with that and just make it flat so I can use a canopy clip..

Cmon guys! I need these pics then the project will be well underway( I need them so I can draw out the canopy) Unless you would rather have me clone an Aurora canopy Lets hope it doesnt come to that..

Hey Bart,Thanks! That would be great,Hands on with a synergy canopy would be waaayy better than any pictures..Only problem is I have no idea when the next time we'll be back at the field..Im still waiting for my receiver to get back from Horizon...A few mods to the original synergy canopy and we just might have a winner,And If I can make a good prototype I could make a mold out of that instead..My goal is to have a "one of a kind" 600 while still haveing it look good represent the synergy!

Hey guys..Thanks to Bart for providing the N9 canopy AND the paddles too (as shown) thanks again Bart!

This project is back underway...This is after some trimming without getting into the serious glass work..Hows it look?

Any ideas or suggestions?

The canopy is still too big for the heli. The canopy should have a tigher fit and should extend the heli mechanics with a nice shape.

Maybe you can split the canopy of halfs (on a vertical line) and remove some material to make the canopy smaller and fit better.

I did some more work last night,I made it a little shorter..I still need to re-glass it but it looks like by making it shorter it helped out the width issue....The problem is the bumpers at the front of the 600 frames,I cant get the canopy any thinner than those without the servos rubbing on the canopy..That one part near the bumpers is just going to have to be a little wide unfortunatly But I can thin up everything else no problem...


How does it look length wise?

cant get any new pics at the moment..I would say its about 2-3 inches longer than the stock canopy,mostly in the front
