| The Evo50 has the thrust bearing on the inside of the blade grip between the radial bearing on the outside and the spacer on the inside. Check your manual for the parts diagram. The Evo90 uses a thrust bearing on the outermost part ie. closest to the blade bolt. All the hirobo 90 size machines have a thrust bearing on the outside of the blade grip. At one point, the hirobo spindle was stepped for this thrust bearing. (just like the Trex 600 has now).
As far as a comparison, the blade grip with the thrust bearing on the outside is a far more rigid set up. |
