Gorn,
sorry yes, these big pitch arms do the trick and also make it easier to get a more usable pitch range when setting up and trimming.

Had a few test flights in the backyard with my EX.
She's a lively sucker
Im not sure how much of that was because the previous owner had used the rubber mounting grommets on the cyclic servo's.
Always a bad thing to do on small servo's on an electric.
They rock and roll with every input.
My Turnigy ESC works very well........except soft start engagement point is a bit abrupt.
Going to start the big pitch mod, and get better washput to flybar link geometry for more cyclic.
Still am not wanting to slot the head to stop it rocking on the main shaft. Will try anything b4 I start cutting.
Im also pretty certain that I will order the adjustable phasing head block as soon as funds allow.
Have been re-reading some old posts about having to use a bit of mixing to counter cyclic interaction.
Anyway, we'll see. Im just happy that Ive had a few test hovers with it.
Still amazes me that people build all metal heli's, but use not 1 drop of locktight
Had to go over the whole heli.
Anyhoo, thats my little nothing update for now lol

If you bling it, they will come :D

I used some tin foil between the shaft and the headblock , did the trick!

I was actually thinking of that lol

Tonight I went out to my man cave , and did the mixing lever mod.

Before I did this, I had a maximum of 11 deg pitch and 6 deg cyclic.
In my experience this is more like a smooth F3C type setup.

After the mod, I now have 12 deg pitch and 8 deg cyclic.
A good 3d platform.

Hopefully I will get to flip her over tomorrow weather permitting.
As spacers I used the main shaft collars from a Century 3d Pro and 3 washers per side.
Easy peasy.

If you bling it, they will come :D
