Ok gurus, I am new to the vbar, but loving it on my 500, so much so that I bought one for my 600...Ok, everything is just about perfect except when I punch the collective I get up elevator too....or the nose pitches up briefly....it's exacly like when you punch full positive collective and the tail kicks, but then comes right back, except my elevator is kicking......So what do I need to adjust....?????

check and see if the swash driver is setup correctly if its off phase it will do that as well.

fly the heli and see if it corkscrews on you and that will tell you if your phasing is off as well

Hey Ink beginner question here....how do I adjust the phasing of the driver? Is it just by raising it up and down? Right now the arms are level or parallel to the swash at mid stick/ 0 pitch.......I just hooked it up to the computer, and there does not seem to be any interaction when I move the collective at all...I don't think mixing in elevator at the endpoints is the solution, as it only happens on a hard collective punch. It really only happens on positive punch and not negative....Kind of annoying though, because tic-tocs are just about impossible to keep steady as the nose pitches towards the blades. It's almost as if the elevator servo is not keeping up with the stress of the collective punch...I am running a ton of pitch +-15, but it does it obviously way before I ever get to that high of pitch....I have the stock gyro foam on there right now, and it seems a little too spongy. I am going to try some of the zeal gel tape right now....Then I was thinking of messing with the AOF settings, right now it's stock or set to the 600 size heli setting, and I am flying the Trex 500. There is a selection for the Logo 500, so maybe that would be better...I also read that some folks had more success by just deactivating it....either way I am off to the field to try some things....Thanks for your help...oh I did have one question as far as your 600N setup. I had heard from a couple folks that the Vbar is a little finicky with the 600N due to vibrations....Did you have any issues with this? Thanks again....

i never had a problem with my trex from day one with vibes. i used the supply tape as well nothing wrong with it.

what you need to do is look strait down from the head to see if the swash driver metal clamp not the arms, is strait and level with the head block if its off a tad bit even, the phasing will be off so will ticky tocky's....lol

also save you file first, then on the overview screen click on coldstart/recalibrate then see if that helps also.

make sure there are no trims or subtrims or mixes used in the radio at all that will mess it up big time as well. dont use any radio trims.

another very important thing is to have perfect balanced heli.

on the t600n put half tank fuel in and pickup the heli by the center of the headblock with blades down the boom and see if it balances, if not get it balanced

is swash perfectly level at half stick and high and low?
