Hello,

Have to reform a bleach jug canopy the was squashed a bit in shipping. I can either dunk it in hot water? or take the heat gun to it? Has anybody tried the hot water?

I never tried hot water but have used a heat gun to remove dents.
It worked well.

Yeah, my first choice was the heat gun also. But then I have to heat both sides of the canopy evenly. Maybe just an hour in the hot sun would strecth it the best?

I have used a heat gun on a badly damaged R50 canopy you cannot tell it was ever crashed unless I show you.

Keep the heat gun moving or you will burn the canopy it happens quickly.

I also have used it to remove engine bearings and to tighten the shrink wrap on wood blades. If you keep it tight it will not tear and fly off the blade as quick. They last alot longer if you keep the nitro off the wood. I would not use it again on the engine bearing though the oven woks tons better.

Its not a maneuver until your looking down on it. ~Jason Krause~ Phoenix FF 08
