I have recently seen a mavrick washout base. I noticed it had a load more slop between the pins and the base then the stock washout base. However..... there was less slop between the mainshaft and the base with this mavrick upgrade then the stock assy.
I recently changed out my stock washout assy. ( including base and arms etc... ). The one I had taken off was pretty sloppy ( thus the change ). I changed it out with another stock washout assy. I had in my 'spare parts' dept.
On installation I think the stock washout had less slop then the mavrick upgrade. However, this stock washout will wear much quickier, where the metal base will not.
I did however get 430 flights off my first stock washout though...
