The tail fin is Carbon, nothing in the kit is G-10.

Since we are not getting our preorder kits we paid for 3 weeks ago,is he moding the motor mount to accept the YS engine since it seems to be the engine of choice now.

Doesn't the fan hub also need to be modified? I seem to remember from the instructions that it was threaded for the OS and I thought they were different.

They are just slightly different.

the YS uses a 8mm X 1mm thread.

The OS uses a 5/16-24 thread (7.9375mm x 1.0583mm) they are close enough that you can use the YS crankshaft itself to re-thread the fan hub.

I have done raptor hubs by running a Metric through the hub and cleaning the threads up.I havnt tried using the crankshaft to do it.

The difference in threads from the OS to YS is very small indeed. A 8mm x 1 tap takes only a few minutes to do by hand.
