| When I import into Sony Vegas from my HC5 the project properties set it as 1080-24p,, Deinterlace as Interpolate, Field order as None (progressive). Do I want to change these settings?
After edit what should I render as (which .avi template. 1080-60i, 1080-50i, 1080-24p) for deshaker?
1080-24p uses cineform 2.5 codec

When I use Vegas, I render out to Cineform AVI at 1080-60i, and use that in Deshaker.
Don't get too hung up on deinterlacing your files. It's not the end of the world to work with an interlaced timeline.
When you render your final edit for something posting on the internet, you will render 1280x720p for any Windows or QT HDV files. |
