Go buy better quality double sided tape + add velcro to tie it down on your heli. I would NOT use electrical tape.

I wish I could fly 24/7

clean all the surfaces with isopropyl alcohol first , you probably have some oil residue fouling the sufaces , bob

Get GOOD double tape. You can also, use a velcro strap, to help, after you apply some foam tape.

Don't not attach it directly to the frame without foam tape.

The fuel tends to eat the tape, Just keep the heli clean.

BEFORE applying the tape, I use;

Nail polish remover(great for getting the old stuff off)
Followed by rubbing alcohol.

I'd rather be flying

I use velcro and tie wraps. I need to know that there is another mechanical device keeping my gyros in place. Just don't crank down the fasteners too much.

My Trex with velcro:

My Raptor with tie wrap:

It is a cheap and easy way to get some peace of mind.

Having my heli: Cool, Having a working heli: Awesome, Having a day to fly: PRICELESS!

I use some 1/4in flat elastic cord stuff from WalMart to hold mine on in addition to the tape. It is in the sewing section and comes in all kinds of widths. I also use it to hold down wires and with things cause it won't dig into them like zip ties do.

I use 3M heavy duty grey double sided mounting tape.it works great.and it can be removed when needed. Do not use the futaba stuff it is junk and is guaranteed to split in half and your sensor will fall off!!!! I have had it happen twice.It is not fun
