I have aquired an old schulter heli. I believe it is a champion from the information I could gather. It has three servos on the front tray setting 90 degrees to the center line with one servo setting in the same tray length wise. The moter is an OS, looks like a 45 or 50 size. Unfortunatly it is froze up tight. The rest of the heli is all there in good machanical condition, every thing works,it has collective and cyclic controls and the tail slider is in good condition. It still has the main roter and tail blades on it. There is no canopy on it. If this heli was to be flown it would have to be cleaned up as it has been setting in a garage for who can guess how long. I am new to the hobby and have no desire to try to fly something that I can't easely find parts for. I don,t want to just throw this heli away! I'll make someone a deal on this thing if they would like to have it!. Thanks Ed

Ed can barely fly.

r/e greybeard: The key phrase in your post "I'm new to this hobby" - You sir, are wiser than many, to realize that the machine you found (an antique) is *not* a good one to learn on. You need an easy-to-get-parts-for heli to learn on, so that in the (likely) event of an upset, you can get the heli flyable again soon, before you forget what you've learned.
The 2 options for the machine you've found: a) sell it to a 'antique heli' enthusiast, and use the funds to buy something to learn on; or b) keep it to fix up and look at and / or fly later, once you've learned on a modern machine. Flying an antique takes much more patience than *just* operating a modern heli, as you may need to adapt, scrounge, search, or make from scratch some of the parts for the antique; maybe a bit like restoring an old car (although I've not gotten sucked into that hobby - yet )

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups.
