That would be in direct conflict with Harold at www.helicopterhobbies.com
And besides , Harold usualy always has any of the parts that I need .
I ordered a big parts order from Harold Sunday, and I got them this morning . He had everything that I needed ...

I haven't found Harold to NOT have a part I needed. And I have needed a few off the wall things.

He could use a nice online, real time stock, ordering system though. Or he needs to work with ReadyHeli to stock and ship the parts for him. Get more on the distributor side.

But once he has a credit card, just email and the parts show up. There are times they are hard to get hold of.

Or pick up the phone.

You can always PM or email one of us and we can call.

I would offer, but I am in Lithuania right now myself.

Or get a Vonage setup, VOIP, I can call from anywhere in the world. I pay $15 per month for 500 minutes.

I have heard of VOIP, but that would still leave me waiting til around 3am to call.
He needs a better website, plain and simple.
Or if thats not cost effective for the turnover, then he needs to check and answer emails on a daily basis.
I work in a hobby shop, and fully understand how all this works.
Im not angry with Harold, just frustrated is all.
Cheers

Yeah, I know, I have been there.

And he might be coming back from a fun fly or something.

But fix ordering and I think that will help the heli.

And you are about 12 hours out, so you can call from 8 - 9 PM your time to about 4 - 5 AM your time. Plenty of time in there to sleep.

Man , I had the one-way bearing go out on my EP9 today. I was able to auto-rotate safely to the ground. The main shaft just spins in the one-way now!!
It is the same unit as the EP8 EX so I have plenty of extras, its just that it is only a few months old.
Anybody have this problem before??? Thanks.

whats your AUW on the EP9? Ever consider stretching it to handle 550s and 8 or 10s?

I dont think going that big would be a good thing for an 8mm main shaft.
All the heli's that take over 500mm blades have a 10mm.

Man , My computer has been broken down for over a week, the video card has gone bad so I took it out and now it works ..
The EP16/18 uses 550mm blades and has a 8mm main shaft, the exact same shaft as the EP9 , so it could handle 550mm blades ... note the shaft in the pic, it has EP18 and EP9 on the label...

yes it makes sense Jimbo, I think you would just have add more cells and dial down the HS to about 2200.

I think that stretching the EP9 to around 500mm or 520mm and using 8s1p would be more realistic... I just may try it some day...
