Man , I realy do like this EP9 , it flies realy well. I`m starting to like it better than my EP8EX ..
Now if I can find some SAB 440mm carbon blades to put on it ...
I am using some Heli-Max 440mm carbons , but they are not that good, and it still flies realy awsome!!!

apparently theres a shortage of CF these days, Ive decided that I wont be buying any carbon blades for a while. Everytime i look they are way too expensive or out of stock. Sounds like fun Jimbo, but with my new gas and heli budget these days I dont think Ill be getting an EP9 anytime soon.

Yup , I think the Trex 500 people are buying up all of the CF blades, and the makers of the CF blades know this and are charging more,

I got in a couple of flights on my lunch break today ...
I finaly got my EP9 dialed in pretty close to perfect.
MAN!!! This realy is an AWSOME helicopter!! This is the best heli that I have ever flown, it is so stable , but , when you want to bang the stix the cyclic is unreal, it is so controlable in any position . I was doing some tic tocs that looked half way decent , and inverted it is so predictable and stable... I am very happy with My EP9 , cant wait to fly it some more.
Come on guys , who else is flying the EP9 ? Anybody???????
You guys are missing out on an awsome heli.
Contact Harold at http://www.helicopterhobbies.com/ , he has them in stock.. You wont regret it...

I need to contact Harold to see if there is an upgrade kit. Otherwise, I would have to sell my EP8 to get one.

I can`t believe there is nobody else in the USA that has the EP9.
Harold at www.helicopterhobbies.com has only sold one of the EP9`s , and that was to me.
Come on guys , you guys realy don`t know what you are missing. The EP9 is an Awsome helicopter. Surely there is some body else that wants to get the EP9 ?
Give Harold at www.helicopterhobbies.com a call , or call your countries dealer and get you one...
Harold has them on sale for like $340.00 USD. Man , that is an awsome price for this heli . It has all of the option parts on it , and it can swing 440mm main blades and it has a driven tail.
Am I the only one on earth flying this heli??????????????

Jimbo,
I think you are the only one flying a 9. At the moment both of my 8s are down, cant rebuild for a few weeks, maybe a month. maybe ill be able to get a 9 when the price of gas goes back down to $2.50

I would like a 9, but I just got a Vibe 50, so funds are low.

And I would have to find a buyer for my EP8v2 EX.

Hey Jimbo,
where do you put the batteries on the EP9?

Here is battery placement, the regular fiberglass canopy will not fit with these 2 x 3s1p 3300 25C`s. Good thing gorn gave me this "Fury" canopy.

Notice the NEW 36-60-1100kv Medusa V2 motor.. Only got one flight in on it so far ... It seems pretty powerful . But , I realy think I ..should have gotten the 36-50-1100kv motor instead of the 60mm length motor.

There is someone else that is going to be flying the EP9...
Harold from www.helicopterhobbies.com just sold another one to a guy in New Zealand. I realy do not understand why the Quick of Japan EP8 helis do not sell , they are, in my opinion , the best 500 size heli on Earth...

Lack of advertising. Lack of support from a multiple of shops.

Lack of people flying them (the more people see people flying a ship, the more they want that one, because they think it will make them fly like the other people).

They killed it here in Oz with no parts support.
Once Totalerc.com stopped trading, that was the end of them.
They had quite a good following on the East coast.
Its a shame really.

If you bling it, they will come :D

Hi Guy's,

All the complaints I have heard refer to having to wait a month or more for parts that are out of stock in US.
I'm sure I could have sold 2 or 3 if there was a good parts pipeline.

Hey Jimbo, maybe you could open an internet parts house for the QJ with online order & checkout. And of course a complete inventory. It would help the product line a lot if any part could be a you're door in 3-5 days.

Dan
