| I just bought the sd version 200 a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting around to enjoying it. It was a real beeotch to get the gyro setup, Logictech go figure. I have had two crashes and 1 really close call. The gears have held up well. The first crash I flew the thing into the side of my house. Main shaft, spindle, 1 main grip, 1 flybar mixing arm and 1 tail shaft have all seen better days, the gears, boom, shaft are still fine. The other crash I got to close to a trash can with the tail. I cringed cause I knew that would be the gears for sure. Not so. The plastic bell crank for the pitch slider snapped and the ends of the tail blades were scuffed up but the gears are still good. Today for some reason I landed in the grass as soon as I did I heard the blades cutting the grass. Hit throttle hold and ran over expecting the worst only thing was one of the little links that connect the pitch slider to the tail blade grips had popped off. Snapped it back on and took off again, from the concrete though. I know the gears can be shredded without to much effort but they aren't the eggshells they are made out to be. |
