I can't get my tail to hold well during fast reverse flight, have tried increasing gain as well as the parameters in the tail section but to no avail, setup is on my radio dx7. Any ideas

It's been a while, but I believe there's a checkbox for heading hold in one of the XTR menues; make sure it's checked.

Thanks I've tried all the tickboxes parameters etc, upon futher investigation it seems to be a common problem, some heli's are better than others although the weathervane effect comes into play.
Suppose its a good thing to help you with controlling the tail although my 770's seem to hold a little better in real life

I have never found the Heading Hold. I think Piezo-Inergal is as close as we get. I keep hoping that the new versions will come out and have HH setting and multi-player.

I find a way to get the tail to hold very well in reverse flight, at least on the heli I was testing with.
I changed the tail rotor size to smaller one then speed it up a lot and increase the gain to a point where the tails not wagging
You can also change the tail rotor speed to a negative value
Play with these settings, you will get it perfect.

I changed mine from "Piezo-Integral" to "Piezo" and it worked. I use a JR 9303.
