Hi guys,

So my tail servo on my King 2 is dead and I need to change it.. But I also want to change the gyro at the same time..

My options are

Gyro:
Telebee GR201
Telebee GR302
Futaba GY240
E-sky head lock

Tail Servo:
Futaba S3154
Futaba S3110
Hitec HS65MG
Hitec HS65HB

I just can't seem to find an info if they will work with my Stock Tx & Rx. Any suggextions?

Well we all know that the eksy hh gyro works with the stock tx and it does a great gob, so go with that. As for the servo, I have always run the super fast and tough little s3114 on the tail with no problems. Just remember that those gyros can not take advantage of a digital servo, so just find a decent cheap and fast servo and go with that.

Thanks for the info TJ. The website I am shopping does not have S3114 but has S3110...

So, does it work if I go with E-sky Head Lock gyro & S3110 servo?..

Oh boy.... they ran out of E-sky Head Lock gyro too. It was in stock about 1 hour ago....

Can you guys suggest anything but E-sky head lock gyro?

My humble opinion... I'd look or wait for the quality parts that have proven to work well, rather than just get the next available item

Yes you are right MickyGilly but I don't want to wait around and stare at my heli for a busted servo while gathering my funds to get the good stuff

New E-sky Heading hold gyro is on the way..

This is what I got from miracle-mart.com:

"Ek2-0704A is discontinued.Esky told me this gyro is replaced by a new gyro EK2-0704B.But they don’t have an exact release date of this new item.We guess it should be available in June."

Interesting - I'm curious to see what's new about it. FWIW, Jag hobbies has the old/current one for $45:

(ok to post links/stores?)

There are several on eBay for $40.50 shipped BIN. Or you can bid on one and try to get it for $30.50 shipped.

Yup, I saw the deals on eBay, but I have the "Turkish Customs" problem. Guys work in Customs seem to develop "allergy" to the stuff coming from the US...
