Could not have said that any better myself....you will look at flybars in a whole new light....I have yet to hear one report of someone unhappy with flybarless....

Just got my Vbar yesterday and I finished up on the mechanics. Installed the software and I'm doing the setup. Wow, the Mikado parts, talk about quality. Tight and sturdy are the parts. The setup seems straight forward so far, I'm trying to figure out how to work out some interactions I'm getting with uneven swashplate movement at full positive.

Jag, those are sweet helis you've got there.

So I've run into 2 issues so far with my setup,

-Elevator in the LIVE mode is opposite however works accordingly to the radio elevator stick movement.

-Elevator has more travel at full positive but is leveled at midstick and close to level at full negative.

In Test mode the swashplate movement is level throughout the collective range. Does Test mode reflect actual settings with the exception that the computer now controls the input and not the radio?

Change Direction at TX and use negative common collective value. Does your heli have trailing or leading edge control? - This is the reason!

Level the swash at testmode first and then do some trim flights in classic mode at the field.

I have the blade grips setup with leading edge control. So far the heli flies fine, I'll have to check the settings you're referring to.

Is the trimming in classic mode a must? I left the settings in the extended mode and flew the heli that way so far.

So far, I'm flying the heli with vbar and it's taking some getting used to. I noticed that with a flybarred heli my flights are smooth but with the vbar, I can see mistakes due to the newfound precision. The elevator reaction is amazing, it flips so quick.
