RJX Hobby Hurrican 50 - Xtreme 50 > 2 questions- came across pay pal prob.

those bolts came out of the seesaw after a whopping 3 flights. the assembly was put together exactly how the instructions and the tips say.
question 1. when i looked at the manual it shows two 3x6 bolts and two bearing callars, but i see nothing about putting in bearings. what bearings do i need?

#2 when i go to the online store i do not see the m3x6 bolts i only see them offering the 3x8 bolts, will will these work?

thanks for all the help

The bearings are already pressed into the main rotor hub when you build the kit. I would give Rusty a call at RJX of USA and let him know what bearings you need.

3x8 mm screws will work but you will have to dremel/grind down some of the thread in order for it to fit. If you do not do this, the bolt will interfere with the flybar.

Bearing and collars

The bearing your looking for is not pictured but is listed on our site, part # HN81036 Flanged bearings for the center head. The collars are part # HN70209.
Hope this helps you out.

Stock screws are to short, and they will come out. Only good option is to get longer bolts and grind them down. You should do this when you build the heli. Many of our clubmembers are flying the xtreme 50, and all of them has had this problem.

throw away those stainless steel screws, and put in som hardened screws, works fine here with same length on the screws.

I think those screws should be changed out in all kits, they are too soft, they are shiny and look good, but not strong enough at the threads.

I just used some extra 6mm long black oxide screws that I had in my field box. I used red loctite and haven't had a problem with them.

Yeah, I would like many of the screws harden. I guess the locktite doesn't work well on the soft alu screws either.

RJX is listening. I'll be keeping my eye on this as my nitro choice (soon-$$$$) is down to an Extreme or a Vibe. Leaning towards RJX cuz I like belts and all metal heads, and Foxden is right up the road from me for help (nope, haven't met him or Steve yet).

A source for screws that I've used for years are these two, fast delivery and Micro Fasteners has a Heli screw assortment, they are both reasonably priced and ship quickly.

I've also used RCScrewz, they specialize in Stainless "HARDENED" screws

i have came across another prob. need your help

rjx only excepts paypal, my wife has our bank account on pay pal. she has no credit card and i do. now im waiting on an echeck to clear through her account, because of my unverified limmit, just to get my parts. the problem is im unverified and you have to add a bank account to become verified. paypal will only let you use one account per person, my whife and i share, so she has the account on there . i have almost reached my spending limmit being unverified using my credit card.right now my only opption is to use her account with the echeck. so what do i do? will they ever except credit card at rjx? waiting 5-7 days just for the check to clear is to long.
thanks
