Completed my camera mount. Sorry for the pics, the Sony SR11 Video is really nice but the still camera on it could have been left off. Anyway this a light setup with a Plexiglas base that is mounted on four rubber post to cut back on vibration. I will post some HD video later. I took some but I had it sset to low quality so the video was not as good as it could be. You can still watch it here but as I stated the quality was set to low.

This is just flying around and my first flight on a very windy day. After watching this I know to slow down my rotations so upcoming videos will be improvements.

Total cost of mount was about $12 with about 2 hours of build time.

Great stuff.

I'm too busy building another diy mount for my second 600 AP machine. I will get to the 500 mount soon.
So often the simple ideas work well

Pete, Trex 500, Trex600 Al, Low-volt alarms - check the gallery for my alarms ,GY401, DX7.
