| Just on RTFsHad Honeybee CP2 and Walkera 60B (60B was actually my 2nd small heli after 3 nitros and an ealier circa 1997 Keyence japanese electric which eventually did fly, and looking at newer small electrics I though how bad can the walkera be, I'll prove them all wrong - only about $250Aus - well it was bad, and ended up replacing head, replacing rx and moving over to my JR tx, now not too bad except for the slow tail), and the workmates new King2, and agree all above were not RTF , but
Belt CP was. Charged battery and flew. Didn't change a thing until I crashed it going for my first inverted.
For me, really was RTF.
On the workmates king 2, I could fly it without the 43 tooth, but it was st, and tail was all over the place. Put the 43 tooth on, and all was fine. So, while most helis may need some tweaking, this was clearly poor design for one that so many new people may be interested in as a first machine (so was the 60B).
Just my experience................ |
