wait

til you see the canopy - if it's the same one being shown around here lately. THE UGLIEST lid I've ever seen on a heli since the golden days of Schluter.

yeah

theres a very long thread here somewhere on this bird.
Can't remember the guys name, but he kept tweaking it in photoshop and actually came up with a sweet lid for it with input from like 50 different guys. If THAT was what came with it, I'd think differently cuz Hirobo makes nice stuff - just a little pricey for my wallet.

Pinkie, why do you give a sh*t? You change heli brands faster than most folks change their shorts. Did Todd B build your Synergy for you at IRCHA a few years ago cause you couldn't get it done yourself? That's the story I heard, so what makes you an expert on what's pretty or not? What happened on that flybarless head dude? One minute it's the shinizzle and the next it's for sale. What's up with that dude?

Can you paint your own stuff or do you buy it painted by someone else? Everything YOU fly is great and everything everyone else might fly is crap, is that right? If y'all think it's ugly, you don't have to buy one or fly it. It's just that simple.

If Hirobo equipment is too pricey, you don't have to buy it.

very well put Terry....

If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it.

Personally I hate the look of the old XCells, but I don't go around shoving such personal views strongly in people's faces.

If the worse comes to the worse for me financially, I'd be happy to fly a hawk or second hand raptor 50 - because then at least I'd be flying.

first off TMoore this is my opion is all. you dont like it move on yourself.

2nd Todd never build my synergy i did it all and there were a whole lot of people at ircha who saw me and only me building it which bugged me all day while i was doing it.

i do have a flybarless synergy still and i sold the other head cause i dont have the $ to build 2 of them so before you get flapping in the gums you should know your true facts before spitting out garbage like that.

i never personaly wanted to attach anyone but you left the door open now attaching me. so fly on brother fly on.

again it was my opion which is my god given right to have.......

It's not an attack, (btw attack is spelled attack, not attach-attach is totally different). Facts are facts. This is what you said:

that has got to be the ugliest heli i have seen.

what a turd........

Team no Turds......

Here's the definition of a turd:

turd
Pronunciation: \ˈtərd\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English tord, turd, from Old English tord; akin to Middle Dutch tort dung and probably to Old English teran to tear — more at tear
Date: before 12th century
1. sometimes vulgar : a piece of fecal matter
2. usually vulgar : a contemptible person

It might be what you suggest but then again, Hirobo has a way with helis and they seem to find pilots that are able to win contests with them. I bet this heli wins a few 3D contests no matter what you may or may not think about it.

Again, you don't have to buy it.

A lot of time an effort has been put into this heli, I am very curious to see one in person, it should be an exceptional machine

I love my Hirobo's. Awesome machines. Way smoother than flying something like the trex. I know....I own freya, sceadu and trex and have owned a few JR machines as well as a craptor..
Nothing rolls as nice as my x spec.....not even a sylphide.

BUT......I am sorry guys.....I have to agree with inkspot in a more diplomatic fashion maybe.....but this heli is truly ugly. I shan't have one due to that fact. Hirobo was advised which we know was looked upon by MRC hirobo on the link showing how a modified canopy would look but choose to ignore any changes (which of course they have a right to do) that may have made the helicopter rather nicer to look at....

I bet the machining and quality is second to none and if 3rd party interests made new canopies I might look at one. I know we dont fly the canopy.....but I couldn't take that terrible looking canopy to the feild. It looks like an old womans boot. Sorry. MHO.

Edited....I just saw the freya canopy can be used as dominik did. Will that be the same on the newest version (D3)?

That would make it better to look at.

I agree. It looks as good as the Aurora. To me at least. It is hard for me to understand how some people see it as so offensive to the eye , but I guess that is why we have vanilla and chocolate

Agreed...No one is doubting the quality of the machine.
Looks nice as a freya but the new turbulence canopy is a shocker imho. Sorry. We are all entitled to our own opinions and I respect the guys that like the machine in it's current form opinions as well.

Truth is dominicks flying style is one of the nicest 3D styles I have seen. It makes a break from the tiring snip snap type flying currently in hot form and I prefer the very controlled precise 3D flying he does. The sceadu even does nice 3D but does not have the snap of the trex 600N. Yet in the right hands it can do a very smooth 3D style of flying. It simply flies better than the trex 600N for a smooth style but doesn't have the POP the 600N does.

I know we are talking about the turbulence but just making the point that Hirobo makes great flying heli's that are very smooth.

Hope it's a success. (and hope they change the canopy!!)
