| For CG analysis I use angle aluminum, on a table, it forms a precise demarcation point to balance a blade on.
For final balance, I apply about 3" which is .3grms of electrical tape to one blade, hover it, did vibes increase or decrease? Depending on the answer I remove that tape and place it on the other side, making decitions as to tape quantity on one side for a balanced system. This dynamic process is quite precise.
Basically you can say the following when dynamically balancing blades "If I add .3gr to blade A only vibes begin to manifest, however if I add .6gr to blade B only, vibes are equal to the first condition. Thus if I add .15gr to blade B the blades will be dynamically balanced, at the center of the detectable null zone of induced vibrations.
It works for me, and sounds more complicated on paper than it is. Dynamic balancing takes care of many issues that may exist, such as what if one blade grip sits out minimally farther than the other, etc. I hope you get it sorted out, you've been a long time at it.
