| It can be a ''DO IT Yourself Job''. Its just a matter of using two "T" fittings and and 4 shut off valves. Basicly you bypass one system completly and use the other. Just have to completly shut down the one system your not using and kill the power or fuel to the furnace or eletric heater what ever your not using if the system is still running or heating the hot water that your not using and has no place to go when it expands you could blow the bottom of the heater out. dont have to drain it completly just make sure you at least depressurize it. check to make sure you follow the codes when you install the system. Down here in my town if they ride past your house and see a box from a hot water heater in your garbage they be knocking on your door to see if you got any permits for replacing your heater other than that should be no problem.....Keith |
