Radio - Servo - Gyro - Gov - Batt > JR 6102 Ultralite Receiver Battery Question

I have a JR6102 FM Ultralite radio that I am using in a non-powered glider (yes, I will be throwing this off a cliff), so the receiver battery will be powering only the receiver radio and servos.

How do I determine battery consumption? In the manual, the transmitter is 200ma, therefore the 600mAh battery should last 3 hours or so.

How much current does the 610UL Receiver and (4) S241 servos consume? I know it will vary widely based on servo usage, but I need a rough so I can determine if I should buy a 400, 800 or 1100 ma battery.

Rough is good enough, so please help!

Current consumption in a sailplane with that assortment of electronics shouldn't be a worry when it comes to battery packs. How much do you want your pack to weigh, should be the determining factor.

Years ago when I flew my Olympic II 2-meter sailplane, it wasn't uncommon for the glider folk to use 225 mah flight packs in their systems. Unless you plan on a lot of thermaling, or using your servos like mad in a sailplane the standard 500 or 600mah flight pack should be more than sufficient. At that rate, you could make yourself a flight battery using four 800 mah or greater AAA NiMh cells. It would be small, lightweight, and run for a long long time.
