And it doesn't look like you're using a canopy from a smaller heli. It doesn't look like a nose just stuck on the heli.

I looks like a proper 90 size canopy should look.

I don't have a 700. But I like the canopy. It looks good and it matches the 500 canopy. It would look like a nice little pair side by side.

Doug, you really had to rub it in. Well guess what, I dont even fly with my canopy on. Thats how ugly I think it is. In fact, I have admired the shape of squirrel turds in my back yard more than I have admired my Trex canopy. What a damn shame.

God help us if helidirect doesnt release their canopy soon.

I dont know why every one thinks its ugly. there are a lot worse out there. I think it looks very good. Yeah it would be nice if it was bigger and had more of a point to the nose. that really woukd change it. just make it bigger and point the nose like the very lovely N9 and maybe make the wind sheild have pints in all its corners and not so soft turns. but it looks very good. There is nothing wrong with it at all. There is a lot better looking than a lot of helis out there. i would only put the N9 and Aurora as better looking. Only because they are pointier and bigger and more sleek. Well i just dont know what is wrong with it as I like the way it looks so much. just make it bigger and its perfect.

And ghost that looks like crap. I would much rather have the stock one. try a little better. at the front bottom it looks like crap. you have the right idea but it did not turn out very well. Good try but you dont have it there. Make the nose a little pointier and bring it down with the flow of the wind sheild. also change the wind sheild as well. It dose not fit your desighn at all. Also at the back you are close as well. But bring the bottom down and wirk it up from there and kinda follow what Align has dont point it out. Try messing around a bit and lets see what you can do. Even mess with some colors and even tottaly redesighn it.

One more thing I think it looks closely to the vibe 90 canopy. Its small as well and has no points in it. Maybe try to base it off the vibe or the 50 for that matter. I would like to see a mix between the vibe 50 N9 and Aurora. Give it a shot and I am not trying to be mean here AT ALL just yours dose not look good at all and would like to see some more. Good job though and lets see it. Any one who can lets see what you can come up with and we may be able to make it with some fiberglass. as long as we have the demensions. I might even try to builfd one to see what I can come up with. I will use the stock canopy as my mold. Ill need some ideas.

I agree with you. I used to think the 700N canopy was butt ugly, especially the white version of the pre-production. To me, the yellow production one actually isn't as bad as everyone is complaining. Its just like a raptor 30v1 canopy, it grows on you after looking at it for a while. It isn't super sexy or cool, but it looks pretty ok after looking at it for a few weeks.

#61 on the 700N list and Proud of it.

Hey louk05,

First of all, none of those renderings are mine. I re-posted them next to each other so that people could compare. Even though most people read previous posts before opening their mouth, it is obvious you have not.

If you would have, you would have read that Rbush had very limiting software to do any exact modifications. This was simply a concept, not a final rendering.

Second of all, you sure are a demanding little sh!t. Why don't you go to the drawing boards your self and come up with a design that you like since you seem to know exactly what modifications are required.

As you say, these were just a little exercise we were doing at the time, and I think we also had a little laugh as well. I do think that this has shown just how hard it is to make a canopy that everybody likes. No matter what Align made, some people wouldn't like it.

OK well that explains it. Glade it was not you. It is ugly as crap. And why did you even post that crap. The 700 canopy is not ugly at all. I think it looks good. It just needs to be a bit bigger is all. I guess every one who says its a cheap heli dose not like the canopy. Its a great heli and performs very well. So I would not mind to see a bigger canopy but the one on it looks just fine. I have picked up some fiberglass and will see what I can come up with. And ghost instead of saying its ugly why don't you come up with a solution to it instead of saying its ugly. Do you even own one?? have you flown one?? have you really looked at it??? Maybe maybe not. But its not ugly and the more you look at it the more it will grow on you. Its a great looking bird and trust me it flies a lot better than it looks from the canopy. Other than that naked its a sexy bird.

And Ghost I know it was not yours I was just saying its ugly as crap
