| Had a 600XL 1700KV unscrew itself after about 40 flights. I have been really concerned for about the last 10 flights my batteries were coming down at the 145-155 degree range. The motor was really hot with the core always around 185. Went to put the stock 600L back in to trouble shoot and found the wires twisted so hard, the three wire insulations almost fused. I'm thinking that knot of wires and zip ties was actually holding the can in place and was the source of elevated temps. I never lost power and unless it happened during the auto after 6 flights today, I may have found my problem. Unfortunately, I can't get the thread to seat back into the motor can. Are the thread normal righty tighty. Damage wise, the bearings are fine and the wires while twisted are still firmly attached to the stator. If I can just get the bottom screwed on, I think its salvageable. I'm afraid there may be a burr on the threads from the unscrewing.
