(and that's a lot coming from me! I don't usually support SIMs)
Hey, you did make me go look at Phoenix again though. I passed up on it originally because it didn't include the Tx, and I didn't have one I could use. I have a DX6i now that I COULD use with it, so I took a longer look. I have to admit that the graphics look a lot better than G4. So I guess it would come down to the physics. I'm personally not to impressed with that part of G4, but then I only have very limited experience with Helis to draw on.
I will say about G4 though: It's great for fixed wing! I flew fixed wing extensively, and the G4 physics for them is very close. I've been getting on and using it do things I'd never consider doing with a real plane. I just may add a few new tricks when I get my fleet back in the air (next summer).
So maybe it's G4 for fixed wing, and Phoenix for Rotary?
Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission. |
