Hi guys..

I have a question.... You set-up the pitch angle from the turn buckles right?.. After setting the angle up, you track the blades from the turnbuckles again.. So when you track the blades aren't the pitch angles messed up 'cause you are doing the 2 seperate adjustment from the same place?

Or did I get this all wrong?...

By the way I have stock Tx..

Thanks

yes you are messing it up but not really one of your blades is likely warped and has extra pitch. So you are kind of matching the pitch of the blades together. So dont overdue it if you have to crank one way more than another you got problems. IMO 1 or 2 turns on either blade is all you should do. anymore means you have a problem somewhere else.

Thanks tryan. It was just boggling my mind when I did as I said in the first post. I was just curious.

So just for fun, checked the pitch on my Esky woodies after I set the tracking. Before I started the tracking adjustment, both blades were at zero pitch at midstick. After the blades were tracked, one blade was at zero and the other was a +1.

No they are crappy Esky blades. I broke the +1 blade today, so I won't have to deal with it anymore. But that's a story for the "did you fly today thread".

I have't put the Align blades on yet, since I'm still spining slowly in the garage with the magnetic little red wagon
