Pondering selling the King. I dont have the time to keep 2 helis Im just stockpiling the other namebrand heli spares. while the king gets dusty. Planning on investing the cash and lama radio on a 3ch foamie for my daughter. I'll ween her off those rockets even though they are kinda fun.

this is the EHS rocket oh you all know thats the high school where high school musical was filmed. Damn Im so whipped when did this happen?

I have the Mini aNd the Trex so Ya keeping parts for 3 different helis is not fun< My king is benched and will stay that way for along time

Sadly enough I fully know that I will not fly a King forever. Soon I just know the Mini will become my main bird and I am sure that not long after I will be wondering why i own the king still. I guess time will tell.

I think Im gonna fly the little King for a long time. It flies in a small area, parts are cheap, and best of all the same batts will work in my 550. Me likey King.

Well this is a sad day indeed. The end of an era. I still remember all those obnoxious guys in the Elfight forum telling us to “just get a Trex”. I still don’t want to believe they were right. But I too know that once I get 450, the HBK2 won’t see much air time.

I keep reading how the E versions of helis are more powerful than their N cousins. Why do people even mess with engines/fuel when the Lipo birds are so strong now?

tryan, you're one of the "founding fathers" of the "non-existent" council You can't kick yourself out of yourself Slider46 has a fleet of TREX's was accepted whole-heartedly into the "council" (disclaimer--the fact that "council meetings" are held twice a year on Sliders boat had no bearing on membership)
I parted out and sold my King two month's ago #1 it was too easy to fly #2 I became obbsessed with mastering the ultra-micro POS motor driven tail heli's - CP2 and BCPP
Ultimately it's more about the people and helping said people on their "heli-quest" than what brand you fly IMHO.

Dougies boy is right it's all about having guys to ask questions and you can get advice from more that what brand your flying... Doug has the POS cpp under control and Fender has his Mini doing funnels, and I still have my fleet of rex's that are just sport flers for me.. The bottom line is fly what you got and enjoy the company here......

By the way guys, The boat is in the water, cleaned and ready for the summer now, so we need to schedule the next council (that doesn't exist) meeting on the boat....
