Computer Flight Simulators > Radio with reflex

I saw the website where it says that futuba will work with reflex, but I am just finishing a HDX300 build with a blade cp radio system. My question is, has anyone tried this radio on reflex or do you know if it will work?

Thanks sorry if you all have heard this before.

I may be wrong, but I think the Blade CP radio is always in CCPM mode with no way to change it. To work with Reflex the radio needs to be in normal swashplate mode. I hope I am wrong and someone can tell you how to do it.

If that is the case and other people can confirm that for me, is there any other sim that would work with that radio? If push comes to shove I have a futuba radio for my airplane that I guess would work. Any comments?

I just keep talking about things I know nothing about. I don't own that radio and I don't own Phoenix, so I only know what I read. This quote:

Make sure you don't get a transmitter that has builtin mixing that can't be turned off. This rules out most of the transmitters that come with RTF CP helis. Phoenix does have the ability to demix a CCPM signal, but the demixing doesn't work flawlessly.

The demixing with the 1.05.j is actually pretty good - and will get you up and flying if nothing else.

Thanks for the help. But what is the 1.05.j? And also this is kind of off topic, but are the physics better in realflight g4 or reflex xtr? I travel a lot with work and I am looking for the best sim to take on the road with me.

But what is the 1.05.j?
It is the current version number of Phoenix. You can download demo versions of Phoenix and Reflex and run them on your computer to see how it runs. There may be a demo for G4 as well (I just don't know) but from comments on this board, I think it requires a better computer than the other 2.
