Engines Plugs Mufflers Fuel > OS .91 CSPEC Pump problem

Hi there,
Have my .91 CSPEC Pump been in the store for a long. I never used any after run oils before storing it. However, I opened and cleaned it and it looks ok. I need to ask two questions, the pump has got an arrow sign at the back, while fixing it, should the arrow sign points at the head or downwards? I forgot to notice that before opening.

While with the same engine, while using 15% coolpower, when I start to get in a hower, RPM drops down where I can barely stand up. I tried leaning the engine since It throughs a lot of oil from the muffler but not sure why things are not working. The carb I am using is OS 60M without any mods. I even changed the fuel suspecting a fuel issue but its still the same. Can't get enough power after lift off.

Any suggestions?

(I tried searching the forum for the problem but can't find anything. So would prefer if can get some help.)

the arrow on the pump is the direction of fuel flow (make sure the arrow is pointing the fuel towards the carb)
if this engine ran ok before it was stored on this fuel then you either have a blockage in the fuel system or the diaphragm of the pump has gone
if it has never worked correctly on this nitro % then try increasing the nitro level of your fuel
if it is the pump you can either replace the pump or fit the 60k carb onto it and remove the pump from the fuel lines

I don't know, somehow I suspect this is a pump issue. Because I removed the pump and tried to blow some air from mouth in the nipple which is connected to the back plate but I was not able to. Not sure even if it works this way or not.

Can I simply remove the pump and install a fuel pipe with one end closed with the back plate to stop the pressure coming out? Will it work? Since I don't have early access to spare parts, I am thinking to work it out this way. If this does not works, I may order a new pump or simply remove it with a back plate having no holes

to remove the pump you need to blank off the nipple (fuel tube with blank in is ok) but you will need the 60k carb
or you need a new pump
with mine i fitted the 60k carb and blanked off the nipple but it took me 10 weeks to get a new carb
if you can get a second hand carb from the non-pumped c spec or 91szh both will do the job
if you run your engine with the pump gone it will run lean and overheat
the pump works on suction and then pressure to move the diaphragm to make the pumping action

you can fit the non pumped back plate onto this engine
