Lately mfcrash has been getting a little cocky since he hasn't crashed his heli ever and he is on battery 55 or something. In the beginning he said he just wanted to get 50 batteries through his king and then it was ok if he crashed. So today was the day and boy did he crash!

Ok so I had to open my mount and say something like "Man I just can not make myself to a full power piro climbout"> Next thing I know Mike is getting his heli all stable in a hover and so I had to ask, "Whacha doin?". He said he was going try a full power piro climbout. So I watched as he grabbed all kinds of throttle and nose left and yup, he did one and a half piro before he was WAY up there and getting further away by the second. Lets say he was 70ft up and maybe 50-75 yards away. Well he kind of saved it for a second but then he got turned nose in and it started coming back but also further left. The last part was pretty simple, it just nosed into the ground from about 35-50ft up. Yeah that was a bad one. Here is a pic

So anyways the big loss was the CellPro battery that is now bent in the center pretty good. Maybe it is still good but I don't know man, it looks pretty bad. The good news is that it looks like the whole head and tail survived, the tail servo and all other electronics look fine, the blades look fine as well and the main gear is ok. But both frame pieces are broken, the tail is bent, one servo casing is busted and one has a broken arm, the other gears are unknown, the landing gear is totalled and the canopy is shattered. This looks to be an $80 crash or more. Hey if you are going to do it, do it right

As if not to be out done I also crashed my heli during a transition from nose-in to tail-in. The heli leaned a little left and I just laid the blades over into the grass. It looks like I might have escaped with no damage but until I take the purple head apart, I won't know if the spindle it ok. And the main gear got shaved a little but still looks usable.

Oh and I did do 2 piro climbouts with one being REALLY high! I mean wow, the hli must have been 100-120ft in the air. I got it down but man that was a scary few moments. Overall it was a good day of flying

Edit: I just pulled the head apart and all is fine. The motor got pushed back and that disengaged the pinion. I guess that was kinda like an automatic th.hold. As such, the main gear looks fine.
