I have just visited Vario UK website

I cannot beleive how much the prices have hiked up in the past month!!!

Is it only UK does anyone know or is Vario worldwide doing the same?

Its taken me nye on 15 months to save for a vario, to find its out of my reach again!

Sorry Vario, I will have to look to take my business elsewhere.

Its a shame cos John White is an alright guy as it happens!

Talk about killing the goose that laid the golden egg.

Not best pleased.

yea.

Helis are not the only thing going up. Guess if we buy something we need to reserch and think if we are going to keep the airframe for a while.

We (In the United States) are in for it. As soon as oil started traiding in euros I knew things were giong to get bad.

Hi Ade
Unfortunally this a major problem for any buisness world wide who are buying in the euro currency. Over the last 6 months the value of the euro has taken a dramatic dive. We have been carefully monitoring this exchange rate and have had to increase our prices to cover this. Believe me this is not a situation i am happy with and hopefully the value of the euro will get better and i will be able to reduce the cost of Vario products in the UK.
Regards
John.

I thought that value of the Euro increased.

The U.S. dollar has taken a dive against the Euro and the British Pound.

price increase

Dont blame Vario, the U.S dollar has the same problem, check the increase of prices in the U.S for any European product, Mercedes etc. have made a big jump.

Yes, they should be making them in China like Century do. Look how well that's working out for them

Update

So we will blame the Americans then!!

Thanks for the update John.

I think the Euro is to blame for just about everything price wise.

I like your thoughts Paul, bring in the Chinese!#

Seriously, Vario will suffer if they do not reduce their dealer price as people will look for alternatives or at least their non-Euro market export will.

You seem to have lost the plot here !! Vario Germany have not increased their prices. The countrys who buy from them who do not have the euro as their standard currency end up having to pay more because of the bad exchange rate. As i said in my previous post if the euro changes for the better i will reduce the price.

Here we go again

Now I have started a riot!!!
My two peneth worth again.

I dont object to any business making a living.... far from it.

I object to this carousel that we are all on where overseas manufacturers have us over a barrel with the damn Euro, lets all have the euro and stop being ripped off!!!

But the fact that I don't want to buy a Mercedes (berk with a merc and all that) is fine by me but to see such a large increase in something I love sticks in the throat a bit. And lets face it Vario are not the cheapest at the best of times........

And Paul, unfortunately I think your right.

Lets hope the Pound beats off the Euro and we can all Have varios for 50p!

Its not Vario-UKs fault that the pound is not as strong against the euro. Its the economy!! Just look at the price of petrol (gas) here in the UK. We all have to just dig deeper in our pockets and swallow hard!!

When we started some years ago, it cost us $1.10 to purchase one Euro. I did a wire last week, and it cost us $1.57 to purchase one Euro. Varios list price has stayed the same for the most part, its the damn Dollar which sucks.

Is the Euro to blame for the G230RC Zenoah engine from Vario apparently costing approximately twice as much as elsewhere?

Vario has always been priced high even before this. A boom strike could cost you close to $400 depending on the damage.
