Need advice from you veterans. I need a 35amp speed control for my HDX 450 project. Should I spend the bucks for a CC Phoenix-35 or go with an Align RCE-BL35G? I found a source for the RCE-BL35G at a cheap price. I seem to remember folks having problems with the align esc's. Maybe not? Is there something better than the Phoenix-35 that I need to look at? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Silverwing

Come on guys! Somebody is bound to have some advice or an opinion out there in cyber space! I have been out of touch for most part of the last year and really need some help here. I know you usually get what you pay for so would I be wasting my money on the 35G?.

If money is no object, a Kontronic 40-6-18 is probably the best. Align is cheap and cheerful and mostly works. Castle is in between - and what I have on my Trex 450. The RCE-BL35G I bought for it originally now sits in a draw.

There is rarely a silver bullet. I would buy what I would feel better.
