we only had 3 night flyers..but you should have stayed to watch..

started with 3 anyway..
Larry had his tail pitch slider come apart in flight.. low to the ground aerobatics and loss of tail equals dirt nap.

Jeff Anderson and I did some nite formation flying.. our first time ever trying that and it went pretty well... not polished but we did not run into eachother so I call it a win.

In life there is no spacebar!

formation flying was done with the night birds...

so it was his ol' vigor...the vibe I have not finished building yet..

Had to pick...so I spent the weekend building airplane(s) for next weekend. Did not know Mr. Adams was coming up there or I would've tried to carpool with him. I did manage to get a bunch of work done on my truck though...and I worked on my Blade 400's all weekend. Just didn't work out for me with events on back-to-back weekends, and I only get to see the guys at Tim's once a year I was bummed, but it just wasn't in the cards.

My dad drove over on Saturday to drop some stuff off. Thought about driving up when he left after lunch, but I wouldn't have gotten to the field until a little after 5.

Thanks to Cindy and Dennis for a wonderful FF.

Saturday skies were gloomy early but quickly cleared and Mr. Sunshine hung around the entire day.

The event ran smoothly, great prizes and an awesome dinner. That was quite a spread - something for everyone to eat.

Looking forward to next year....
