Very cool Jeff. Love the threading of a needle between the trees and lifts.

Tip

"Daddy...that's cool!!! How did you land your helicopter upside down??"

Yep, and I'm trying my hand with Fast Color Corrector in Premiere.

"what video cam were you using?"

HC9 with a 0.7x.

It's a fun little camera, but I haven't figured out if I should leave IS off or on.

Cheers,
Jeff

Wow! Are you really flying as close as it looks to everything? Like the passes over the lift lines? Looks like you're right on top of them and just barely clearing them!

Two man effort, or are you able to do that by yourself?

As an aside, looks like they still have plenty of snow left to me! Fire up the lifts!

Great video, thanks.
Ryan

I never fully appreciated Spring until I started flying helis in the North East!

"flying as close as it looks to everything"

That was shot solo with a healthy gap between the camera and ground objects. I wonder if the wide angle might give it a closer proximity effect?

"Fire up the lifts!"
I hear ya. The resort has been closed for over a month, but yesterday it snowed again?! We have been skinning up to the top however for late season turns.

Cheers,
Jeff

If you had it on, I didn't see much wobble from it. Pretty smooth.

Very cool!
Looks like you may not have the cam isolated as well as it could be cause youve got some waveiness happening.
