I am still confused about the GY401 gain setting on JR transmitter. For me I set it to +/- 50% with +50% going to HH mode and -50% going to rate mode. Is that what you guys have?

Dunno about the specific percentages you have set, but anything above zero will be HH, and anything below will be rate, so you are correct in that regard. What specific number you land on depends on flight testing . . . .

Just to get more information, WHAT JR transmitter, what channel on the receiver are you plugged into, and how do you have your Gyro Sense Menu set up?
