where is the best deal on a Trex 500 what servos do I need and battery ?I have 2 evo's and a Trex450, I like the Trex 450 better just wanting a little bigger e heli. Thanks... willing to listen to all ...Robco

sorry, I ment a 500 Trex and the best place to buy one? what servo's does it use hitec 65mg .... ect? what do you guy's and girls use?while i'm thinking about does heli hobby have good service? Thanks ...Robco

you need bigger servos than 65's. some people run Futaba 9650's.

for batteries, your going to either need a 6s 2200 (or larger) size pack or you can use 2 t-rex 450 size 3s packs wired in series to make a 6s pack.

I have the following set up
stock motor on 13t pinion w/ stock esc
JR3400G servos x 3
S9254 Futaba servo for the gyro
Spartan gyro
3s 2200 lipo x 2
RCP CF blades

I have also used the s9254 servos on the head as well and it flew very well... so if you are dead set on futaba then either run those or 9650's, and a 401 on the tail.
