Ok I have gathered parts and I am setting up this heli that Raptormandan,(radio system and canopy) Orlee008, (Caliber 30) AndresS.C. (new blades) and TrooperSam (gyro) Generously donated to me just to make sure that I was completely hooked on helis... LOL

I had no idea that I would be up so many nights reading the internet forums trying to learn about these things before I make my first hover.

Ok here is the problem. The Tx is set so that each of the servos move the swash up and down with the throttle ccpm. I have reversed the servos so that the heli pitches up when throttled up and the aleron left right is working as it should but the elevator forward backward is reversed. If I reverse the servos then it changes everything around I don't know how to change just the elevator function.

I have it together but still need help trimming it in after I get the correct servo movements.

Any Ideas???

What your looking for to get the swash moving correctly is in the swash mix program. If you elevator is set at say + 60 then you need to change it to -60. That's how it works on mine anyway.

You'll most likely need to find someone local for some one on one /hands on help getting it to fly. Don't go it alone if at all possible. Join a local club....

Hey thanks Tailspin that is exactly what I needed. It is called the AFR on this Tx. I reversed the elevator and everything is moving like it is suppose to. I need to glue the plastic pieces on the new blades and set the pitch..

New question..... I know that I need a pitch gage to set up the main rotor pitch but what about the tail rotor pitch. How do I know what is a good starting point? (I understand that it will need tweaking when I get it started). But I have no idea where to start on that one.

OOPs another... If I read the Raptor setup pages will or can I use all of that setup info on this heli??
