Hey I took some of you guys's advice and modified the location of where the boom brace bolt up to. I used an HDX500 frame spacer with a 3mm cap bolt. We will see if this helps the helicopter seizures out!!!! LOL

Did the last chicken dance break your boom supports?

i see you have a broken ball link...

Try JB weld or epozy...it can be easily repaired rather than leaving it as such.

I just used longer machined screws for the LG in the rear and attached the boom supports there.....Ron

Hey you know I tried that but the boom support on the servo side was making contact wih the servo. Thats why I had to extend the mounting position lower.

Is your tail servo vertical? If it is you will notice that the path of the tail servo rod is not straight. Move the servo until the rod rides perfectly straight along the boom and the supports should fit with maybe one extra nut on the screw.....Ron

It was initially vertical but I did what you said and turned it till the path of the servo rod was perpendicular to the boom! and it still was rubbing.

Well now if you're shareing ideas.I just installed compass knight gear on my 620 and the gear is lower, so to keep the tail up i added spacers between the gear and the frame mount, and i just remounted the braces to the gear, witch is the way i've done it on my other 2 swifts.
The knight gear is super stiff,no wobble.
My limited understanding of geometry tells me that the bigger your tryangle is the stronger it is.
So with that being said the lower the braces are and wider, then the stronger said triangle will be.
And with a 12s power system I want my boom to be as rigid as possible, for better holding power

Just my ideas on the subject
