OK, if you really were serious, then no one has mentioned the biggest drawback. The DX6 only has 3 point throttle and pitch curves. This makes it quite difficult to get the head speed consistent without a governor. Since there are only 6 channels, a governor isn't a solution either.

You can use a governor with out a dedicated channel , but you are limited to one governed headspeed . That's not to say that I think using a six channel radio is a good option , especially a park flyer radio !

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

You'll run out of eyesight before you run out of range with a DX6. Before switching to a DX7, I used a DX6 to fly every bird in my fleet. Never a range issue.

That being said, I don't recommend it for a larger bird because it's limited to 3 point pitch and throttle curves, is a bitch to program and is very limited in programming features. I have since gone DX7 and never looked back.

9303 All THE WAY!

If you are a noob you will learn set up easier on the 9303. The easy reading of the display and menu make it the better choice! And you will never out grow it! I dont have a Vibe yet but I had a Stratus. And if your 90 is set up well it will be easier to fly than your 450! I promise, so dont let some of these fellows freak you out about it!

It will take your breath away when you spool it up while its on the ground! All rc helis are cool but there is nothing like a 90 for the first time!

Good Luck!

Doing it upside down!
