Ok peoples... I've had My Swift for a long time now and I need some nitro in my diet. I've been beating myself between 600N or the Rappy 60. After researching the possibilities, I broke it down to these two for my own reasons so please keep responses accordingly. I don't care how simple your answer is... just help end this confusion so I can sleep better at night.

Thanks in advanced

600N - No question! For starters a 60 size engine goes through fuel like mad.

The Rappy is sort of an old design in desperate need of a face lift IMHO.

Yep, 600N between those two there only cause the 600N will have some performance advantage due to lack of weight. The R60/90 is one stout machine though no doubt.

RAPPY 60!!

Rappy 60 because its bigger! You also have the option to convert it to 90 later on if so desire. I want one myself.

Skip the 60 you will not be happy. Either go with the 600n or straight to a r90. I must warn you the 60/90 is a lot harder
on the pocket book than a 600n both in fuel and crash cost.

The 600 for all out 3D. The Raptor for easing into aerobatics with a 60 size engine. It will do mild 3D with an OS70 and with a few upgrades can be turned into a fire breathing 90.

It's really up to you based on what kind of flying you plan on doing.

I would think the decision would be between the Titan and 600N. The R60 is a larger airframe and slightly under powered compared to the 50's. If I had to choose between the 600 and 60, I would choose the 600.

Good, good... I'm onto something here. Keep it rolling guys! I'm to the point of talking to myself the exact things everyone is saying here. If I have to base my decision on majority, then so be it!

I'm now right there with you SkyWarp. My mind was set on a Rappy 90 and now I'm having second thoughts thanks to you... LoL.

I just sold my R90/QUK. Parts are getting harder to find, the design is old (but robust) and the ship is heavy. It was a great flyer but the new 700N should pick up where the R90 left off. I just love the simplicity, parts availability and cost of Align products. Plus their birds fly superbly. Quality could be better but who cares? Parts are cheap (2 to a pack usually) and a good pre/post flight catches any worn bits.

It totally depends on what you want to do with it. The 600N is a 3d monster, but also makes a great sport flyer. The R60 is a great sport flyer, but is underpowered for 3d.

If you are just a sport flyer who wants stability in any kind of weather, and want a dead reliable heli that things aren't going to wear out on, is easy to see in the sky and don't care about 3d performance, the R60 is probably the ideal heli. They fly awesome, and a 60 size engine doesn't use any more fuel than a Hyper, a 70 doesn't use much more (and is what I'd get over a 60). Crashes are going to be more money, but it's a bigger heli so that's to be expected. It's easily upgraded to a 90 later if you decide you want more power.

If you are a 3d flyer or have the aspirations, the 600N is the one for you. It's going to have much more power than the R60, and will still be a great sport flyer. The disadvantage is it's smaller, harder to see, less stable, and will be blown around a lot more in the wind. It's going to wear out quicker and require more maintenance than the R60, but it's a higher performance heli.

I think you need both.

Allot of statements on performance which is great guys but how about the build? I'm going from an ARF Swift 16 to a nitro kit. Inputs on all departments be appreciated please.

Wait for the 700n. The Rappy although a very solid design, is outdated. Still flys great IMO. If you've ever seen Colin Bell or Bert Magbanua fly one, then you know what I'm talking about But quite frankly, the 700 will have MUCH better parts availibility at a more affordable price.

HOW DO I REACH THESE KEEEDS!!!!!?????
