I am in the process of doing an electric conversion on a century raven, I was wondering if I can use a trex-600 motor. Is this a good idea or not. I have run into two problem, I cant find any way to mount the motor without have to make a custom mount and I cant find the gear I am looking for! does anyone have any insight into this. I was looking for a 25 - 30 tooth 5mm, 10mm face module 1 gear. The Joker usees these gears but no one seems to have any.

Please help

I have converted a couple of century Hawk based models to electric.On both I have used a Century Swift engine mounting plate between the frames at the rear. It just needs a couple of washers to widen it slightly. Works a treat. I used a high KvA motor on one so used a 14T pinion for a slow scale head speed (in a Jet Ranger) for the other I needed more teeth so used the gear that comes with the metal clutch bell and sandwiched it on a 5mm prop adaptor. So far so good as they say.

do you have the width measurement of the swift mount? I'm wondering what other frames that might fit, or close enough with spacers like you did?
