If your main shaft is the same diameter as the rex 450 then lightning rc has a reasonably priced multi blade head. They make a 3-4-5 blade setup

I was wondering that myself. Also, without a flybar do you need a flybar-less electronic package? Or do the extra blades add enough stability that a flybar isnt't required. A blade strike could get expensive.

...after a bit more research, I found anough 3/4/5 blade offering from Dee Tee Enterprises. There products look to be of higher quality than the Lightning Heli products (also reflected in the much higher prices). A footnote on the 5-Blade rotor page says that the head can be flown without an electronic onboard mixer, but it's not recomended as the set-up can be unstable (Unpredictable ?)....

hi
i have a t-rex clone i fly with a 3 blade head , and without stabilization it is touchy , i ran the balls on the servo arms in as close to the screw as posible and then dialed the dual rates way down , and it is touchy but OK , bob

If you look at it and think how it works, it is actually pretty simple. Lean the swash in your mind and look at what it does to the blades as they come around.

And yup I bet tracking it not fun.
