| well i tryed the static idea by spraying the belt with silicone spray.and i also talked to heliworld today and they mentioned the motor wires can't be close to any other electronics and mine are not.they also said to run non govenor mode and a flat 100 throttle curve.so i did all those things ,sprayed the belt, rste esc to non govener, and flat 100 throttle curve.I only flew it for 3 minutes besause of the motor heating issue.but so far no power cuts.however with the 100% flat throttle curve in non govener mode the power definatley was off.witch is what i've found to be true before with my castle esc's.I was told with them that you shouldn't run much past 85% in govener because there's nothing left to acceleerate for pitch changes .and sure enough tonight i could definatley hear it bog with the 100% setting.Century seemed very interseted in the heat issue with the neu motor and the century esc. it seams they've had simular problems and they ,like myself think the esc doesn't like neu motor's,they asked me to switch it back to the castle hv 85 and see if the heat issue goes away again. But it's a pain to unsolder everything and rewire every thing in 2 helis twice to try it and besides i already ordered onother cc hv 85 this morning for it.With the century motor and cntury esc the motor ran cool.so i think it's a timeing thing and the century esc isn't programmable for timeing like the castle is.I've been told by a neu rep that there motors like low timeing.so maybye thats the difference.for now i think i will wait for the new castle esc to get hear so as not wreck my motor and then just keep that century esc paired with one of my650a motors.Unfortanatley the century esc will only run 10s and i'm currently runnig 12s on both my 650 motors. |
