i dont fly a trex, but you would be silly not to buy one simply because thats what everyone else is buying, lots of parts, most of the other brands of heli havent released or changed there design for at least 5 years im guessing, trex is the only up to date heli on the market, its new and good, all the other manufacturers just dont seem to get it, there still trying to sell raptor 50s that dont even have ccpm mixing and with moulded plastic frames for more money than you can get a modern heli, sure the vibe 50 is a very nice heli, I havent checked the price, I dont have to because I know it will be very expensive being a JR, I once paid a lot of money for a jr voyager e and it was crap, but it had JR written on the box so thats what you get for you money i guess. Extreme 50 in the same league as a trex as long as the company dont go bust and parts dry up on you overnight effectively turning your crashed heli into a boat anchor
Go for trex cant lose.

you don't need a carbon frame or eccpm mixing and the vibe 50 is priced lower than the t rex 600 super pro and the jr is a better quality product and jr have reduced the spares price from their normal pricing
and the voyager e was over weight using brushed motors and nicad batteries, now we have lipo batteries and brushless motors so that electric do fly as well as a nitro

I would never have thought that a vibe 50 would be cheaper than a rex600, I just assume that anything with the letters JR printed on it must be more expensive. Wow if this is the case I might look at a vibe 50 myself, im gonna check now, but surely a vibe cant be cheaper than a rex

trex,vibe or extreme.
just dont buy the other one you mentioned.

I would look at either the T-Rex 600 (sport, pro, or super pro) or the Audacity Pantera 50.

The T-Rex is a great flying bird, it's well built, and stable yet very 3d capable. Also, Align parts are everywhere and are very cheap.

The Pantera 50 is a very reasonably priced heli. It flies like it's on rails, and you can't beat the customer support. John is an awesome guy!

Which ever bird you choose, I would put an OS .50 SXH Hyper in it. The engine is amazing!

A 401/9254 or G770/8900G gyro/servo combo is enough for you for right now.

As far as tx's are concerned, I would suggest either a Spektrum DX7 or JR XP9303 2.4GHz.

Vibe 50___OS 50 Hyper, MP5 50, ATGV3, 401/9253, Rotortech 600, V paddles, Arizona Reg.
