Looking for any thoughts from users as to suitability and reliability of these servos for collective on Raptor Titan. Not 3D flying.

Was thinking of a Futaba 9206, but also interested in Hitec HS 985MG and HS 965MG.

The 9206 is plenty strong enough, but not very fast... And for the price, why not get a digital 9452? almost as strong, and alot faster

The 985MG is stronger and faster, but still analog. The 5625 is strong enough, alot faster, digtal, and alot less money...

The down side to the digitals is the power consumption. They will use more Mah from the rx pack.

Just my 2 cents...

Here's a great site for comparing the specs on these servos...

The older I get, the shorter my attention....... Oh look. A shiny penny..

I have always run Hitec servos on my birds whether it be a giant scale gas 3D plane or my 90 size helis. I have never had a problem with Hitec servos in anything. I fly hard with my planes and heli's and the Hitec's have withstood everything I have thrown at them.

Some do not center as well as others I will admit but it has never really caused me any problem. Great servos for the price!

If the wings are travelling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

For my mild mannered low thrill threshold flying, not wanting to get into digitals and lipo batt stuff right now.

Looking for alternative to the 9202 that's on collective now. Seems a little mushy and was looking to get little better collective response.

If I were you I would definitely go for analog servos. Less draw on your rx pack so you can fly more without charging

Yep, this is about as exciting as it gets for me, a little inverted fly around and a few autos per flight.

Might as well go digital and get the HS-5625's for about $20.00 less.

Plenty of torque and speed for what your doing.
