Does the swashplate(on the Pantera) move up or down for positive pitch? I believe I might have my pitch setup backwards after first startup of my Pantera.I would run the throttle up to mid stick(breaking the motor in)and when I would drop the throttle to idle fast it would jump 1-2 foot in the air. On my T-rex the swashplate moves up for positive pitch.

Swash moves down for positive pitch on my Pantera Thats with main blade grip ball links leading. Could it be that the grips on your trex are set up trailing edge?

Swashplate setup

I had this problem myself when I fist set mine up. It was in the swashplate setup. What radio are you using?

Im glad you straitened it out I've seen a video of a 50 size heli tearing it self apart full throttle full neg pitch never left the ground head just came apart under the stress. Its a good thing you sensed something wrong and stopped to check it out.
