Where can I find a review on the 450S CF kit? I bought a Blade 400 and I'm thinking I should have gotten the T-Rex 450S CF instead. Also is there a post or thread showing the B400 and a T-Rex450 side by side for size comparision? Thanks!

I have both a 400 and trex 450se v2. I prefer the trex over the 400, and it is just a smidgen bigger than the 400. I'll take pics later today and post.

My Trex when new was a 450S CF. It flew nice outta the box, although I had some tracking problems with the included "Carbon" blades. I switched to the PRO woodies and tracking problems went away. Aside from that, the heli fly's good outta the box, but after your first crash you will be replacing a lot of the plastic head parts. After a major crash on mine, I just ended up getting the all metal head for it.

Staying with the Blade 400

Well after much reading and calculating how much more it will be to outfit a T-Rex 450S CF I'm going to stick with the B400 and give it a chance. I'm new to electric 400 series helicopters and just getting back into the hobby. Setup is the most critical part about learning to fly and getting proficent at flying. After I get proficent in my flying skills I'll start looking for the next bird. For now the B400 is a good inexpensive learning platform to start. Thanks!

that sounds good, its exactly what I did when I first started. Just a word of the best advice you can get with that heli. It will be an awesome awesome fun machine, if you do the following.
trex 450 carbon tail blades
trex 450 metal head
good tail servo.

The full metal head will cost a bit up front, but after 2 crashes, it will be paid for easily. Trust me I know. You will keep changing out blade grips and that stupid flybar seesaw holder every single time you lose control. If eflight would actually stock them, I'd have like 10 sets of each at home because they are guaranteed to go every crash.

Splix ....can you still post some pic's of the T-Rex 450 beside the B400? I can hover pretty well in all orientations but just haven't started to try to fly the B400 yet. Moving up after Blade CP-Pro (glad that helicopter is gone) and I'm waiting on my DX7. Sold the DX6i because I needed the DX7 to use with my X-Cell 60SE that I have. As far as upgrading parts on the B400 I think I'll upgrade as parts fail or break. A lot of times people upgrade parts on there helicopter before they even start to fly it and see on first hand what needs to be upgraded. Nice shiney parts don't make someone a better flyer, stick time makes a better flyer. Learn to fly and then upgrade what YOU think would make the heli fly better. Thanks!
