| I have had this with my futaba 240 and 401 gyro's if you don't let them initalise properly on the floor (or in your hand). The tail drifts to one side instead of sitting in the middle even though you've put no rudder control in and the heli hasn't moved. Unplug the battery and put it back in and it centers fine.
If your battery isn't supplying enough juice and you do try to take off at full throttle you will lose some headspeed and so you will lose some tail authority.
